Hapori Park is being developed on 18 hectares of land that was formerly home to The Church College of New Zealand, owned by the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints Trust Board. The Church engaged Classic Developments to assist in repurposing this land, with a view to creating more housing opportunities in the existing Temple View community.

The vision for this development was shared between The Church, Classic Developments and Classic Builders. Utilising our capabilities across Classic Group has allowed for a cohesive outcome across this project.

By 2023 there will be 100 homes with section sizes between 320m2 and 490m2 and a range of 2, 3, 4 and 5 bedroom homes. Additional phases including a retail area are currently being planned. While set in rural surroundings, Hapori Park is only a short drive to the city, which makes this development a unique offering for Hamilton homeowners.

The masterplan contains a balance of residential housing with communal spaces.  Hapori Park borders the Church owned Legacy Park an attractive publicly accessible parkland area incorporating a large children’s playground, walking tracks and landscaped ponds attracting waterfowl and servicing the subdivisions stormwater drainage needs.
